Here ends my journey with Wipro. Image

It was in year 2004 that I first joined the company. I still remember the phone call to dad as I cleared the first round.  Selection was like a dream come true. It was a great feeling to be in the Wipro campus and then to accept the offer letter.  Made new friends and it was the best thing to happen. June 21,2004  batch– thank  you for being there! You guys made a lot of difference and it was your support that I could stay this long in the company. The Trainings and the exams to stay in the company. Phew!!!  Lunch, picnics, birthday gathering and what not.. It was crazy fun and a wonderful experience.  The last from the batch to leave the company. I wish I stayed for one more year and got the green tag J

It was another dream come true  when I got into the Hyderabad cricket team. Work and play!!  Thank you Wipro Hyderabad cricket  team headed by Anand, Sree and the veterans(Sorry Gopal sir  J). Thank you team for the great support!!

The work was not what I expected when I first accepted the offer. I  was confident that hard-work would someday pay-off! It was a privilege to work on the projects and then to manage the teams.  The spirit of Wipro was the key and the work done was very well appreciated by the end customer.  People who stayed in the company would know that the work done was the basis for the future engagements. The 9 years in the company was challenging and not easy.  As I look back it was a job well-done for not compromising on the ethics and values. I was the policy guy and who knew that the exit would be related to one of the policies J

Working in the Microsoft account was the icing on the cake.  I don’t know if I can work in any other account. Hehe. Thank you Wipro family for your support all these years!

Wishing you all the very best!!!

Sincerely,

Varghese Thomas (ex-wiproite)

Be Thankful…

November 28, 2010 Leave a comment
Often times we do not realize the gift of God and are not thankful for what we have. Apostle Paul was thankful for everything though he had suffered. Paul was either in prison or in synagogues preaching the people.  Paul was a man of gratitude and if we read each of his letters he begins by thanking the people.
Lets thank God for everything he has given to us and lets together say:
  • I’m Thankful for my faith
  • I’m Thankful for my family
  • I’m Thankful for my friends
  • I’m Thankful for my finances
  • I’m Thankful for my future

Thanks be to God...

inspired by Dr. David Jeremiah‘s speech on thanksgiving.
